Hi there!
We’re Jodie, Andrew and Nick, and we live down the road in Moonah.
You might not have met us, but you’ve probably come across some of our work. Between us we’ve got over 40 years experience in Hospitality, Events, and Drink Production - working with some of Tasmania’s most loved venues and alcohol brands.
Contra is a passion project for us. A way to bring ideas we’ve been sitting on for years to life. An excuse to go on an adventure and pour good drinks for new mates.

We love to share a good drink, and for your special day we’ll put in the extra effort to make your menu one to remember.
Good wine from independent winemakers at the top of their game. Local beer, sourced direct from the brewery and as cold as it gets. Custom kegged cocktails that match your vibe (Our Peach & Sage Gin Fizz is flying this summer).
the van
A labour of love! This 1980’s caravan sat on Tassie’s north coast for years before being transformed into the vintage style caravan bar it is today.
Fitted with a commercial 4 tap beer system Contra can do big volume without breaking a sweat. Your wedding or big event is supposed to be stress free, so we’ll bring in the big guns.
